You need to build a list. Instead of driving traffic to your merchant site, you want to drive traffic to your site and collect their name and email address. This is one of the biggest mistakes affiliate marketers are making today.

In this way, you can leverage on the effort you put in to drive traffic to your site. With an email list, you can now build relationship with them and offer multiple products to them.

This means that it will not be a onetime sale but making cash on demand.
