1. Start a private web site. Use it as a free bonus if people buy the product you resell. You could also allow people to join for free and you could advertise the affiliate program you’ve joined.

2. Participate in chat rooms related to the product you’re reselling. Start a conversation with a person without trying to sell to them. Later on, while you are chatting, mention the product you’re reselling.

Are you ready? In the next five minutes of your time (assuming that you continue reading this article of course) I will give you a rather easy affiliate marketing example that you can use to start making money.

I know that sounds like a bold claim!

But, it’s not really. It’s just I’ve chosen to release this affiliate marketing example instead of getting people to pay for it, like a lot of so called ‘gurus’ do online today.

Before I provide you with this easy affiliate marketing example, it’s important that you understand the following:

Affiliate marketing will not get you rich over night.

In fact, nothing will, short of winning the lottery, having a rich relative die or have Bill Gates phone you up and tell you that he’d like nothing better then to transfer the contents of his bank account to yours.

That simply isn’t going to happen, and if you plan to use this affiliate marketing example to start making some money, then be prepared to put a significant amount of work in. Unfortunately it does take a bit of time to set up and get working, but if you do, then you will be in a fantastic position. Internet marketing is so incredibly powerful, I’m sure you’ll understand what I mean when you start earning your first money with the system.

The brilliant thing about affiliate marketing is that it is so scalable. You can take it from earning nothing at all to being your sole income. And that could be done with only one product! There really is no limit to the amount of money you can earn with affiliate marketing, and the example below will give you a good idea of how to do that.

Targeted Traffic: This is traffic which is interested in what you have to say. Still reading? Good. It means I did my job. This article was targeted at you, reader, don’t take it personally. You can use the same techniques I used to target traffic.

Website: Well, I think this is fairly self explanatory? This is just a website which you own and control which has a review for the product you are promoting, or has a sales page. It will contain your affiliate link.

Affiliate Program: This is just a product which offers a commission if you send a customer and the customer purchases it. A good place for affiliate programs is Clickbank.

Sales: This is my favourite bit of my affiliate marketing example. If the customer you referred purchases the product, you make money!
